     Rep Brianna Titone (HD27): (303) 866-2962       Rep Tracy Kraft-Tharp (HD29): (303) 866-2950

Support the Extreme Risk Protection Orders Bill (HB19-1177), also called the “red flag” gun bill. http://leg.colorado.gov/bills/hb19-1177. This bill would allow a Colorado judge to order the firearms of a person deemed a risk to themselves or others to be temporarily seized. Urge members of the House Judiciary Committee before Wednesday at 1:30pm to move this bill to the floor. Also, testify for this bill in the Old State Library. Contact info here: http://leg.colorado.gov/committees/judiciary/2019-regular-session-0.

SUPPORT COMPREHENSIVE SEXUAL EDUCATION: Call our state lawmakers to let them know you have their backs to pass comprehensive sex ed in schools. That includes acknowledging that LGBTQ people exist, that consent matters, and that abstinence-ONLY education is harmful to healthy sexual maturity.

Rep Brianna Titone (HD27): (303) 866-2962    Rep Tracy Kraft-Tharp (HD29): (303) 866-2950   Sen Rachel Zenzinger (SD19): (303) 866-4840

SHOW UP - WEDNESDAY: Indivisible Lobby Day at the Capitol. 8:15am - 12:00pm. Colorado State Capitol 200 E Colfax Ave, Denver. Join Indivisibles from across Colorado in our first Citizen Lobby Day. *** NATIONAL CALL TO ACTION***

FAKE EMERGENCY: Call our Members of Congress (MOCs), and tell them to reject Trump’s fake emergency. Demand two things: 1) Congress must issue a joint resolution/sue President Trump for overreach and stop this theater, and 2) Congress must stop funding deportation and border forces with our tax dollars. Tell them, “Immigrant and border communities are not for sale. We demand commitments from the Colorado delegation to return spending to FY16 levels in the 2020 budget and invest in education, infrastructure, and health care instead. Your votes tell us where you stand. Every vote that sends an additional dollar to this Administration show us you agree with the Administration’s racist and hateful agenda.”

            Ed Perlmutter - (303) 274-7944     Michael Bennet - (303) 455-7600     Cory Gardner - (303) 391-5777

OPPOSE INTERVENTION IN VENEZUELA: Please voice your opposition to military action in Venezuela. Rep. David Cicilline [D-RI-1] has introduced H.R.1004 to prohibit the introduction of United States Armed Forces into hostilities with respect to Venezuela. Military intervention would be a complete disaster and could lead to civil war in Venezuela. Please call Congressperson Ed Perlmutter and tell him to support this bill and speak out against crippling sanctions that prevent Citgo from returning revenues to Venezuela. Ed Perlmutter - (303) 274-7944

SHOW UP - MONDAY: Rally Against Trump’s Fake Border Emergency. 12:00pm - 1:00pm. Colorado State Capitol 200 E Colfax Ave, Denver. We will gather on the west steps of the capitol and begin promptly at 12, have a few brief speakers set the stakes and give us our call to action, and then we'll MARCH - route will be close around the capitol so cars going by can see us. Please bring signs and be ready to chant! https://www.facebook.com/events/604125343385466/

Now this fierce justice reform advocate will be forced into a cage herself. Please join us in the courtroom if you can to show Elisabeth that she has the love of the community behind her, and to show the establishment that we expect to see her again soon, whole and healthy. https://www.facebook.com/events/2205395046165659/
