APA is happy to have local youth activists speak to us today. These actives will be talking about their history – what event or series of events pushed them to become an activist, current goals, and what we (APA) can do to help.
Speakers include:
Rhiannon – A current CU Boulder student and Boettcher Scholar, and former Arvada West student, is currently working on gun violence prevention as part of the national executive council for Team ENOUGH, which is under the Brady Campaign.
Madhvi – A local 13-year-old middle school student and currently a UN Advisor. Her area of interest is climate change. She has been instrumental in getting single use plastic consumption reduced in the state of Colorado.
Anajalie – A current Arvada West High School student and the director of Team ENOUGH Denver working on gun violence prevention.
