Critical Conversation – Explore non-violent forms of resistance!

March 15 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm MDT

APA, ASJ, Embracing non-violence

Come join us for a night of non-violent action education and planning. We are joining hands with Arvadans for Social Justice (ASJ) and Embracing Nonviolence for this workshop, led by Embracing Nonviolence Director, Daniel Mondragon.

Engage with Arvada grassroots leaders to develop strategic forms of local resistance. We’ll offer drinks, appetizers and additional community networking for connection and a debrief with other community leaders.

During this two-hour interactive session facilitated by ENV Director, Daniel Mondragon participants will:

  • Name the pain: Identify current, urgent injustices threatening our communities, society, and democracy
  • Move from despair to action and hope: Co-Creation in the spirit of nonviolence as a way of life and a basis for all social justice activities
  • Engagement & Action: Begin creating/identifying concrete plans for resistance and reclaiming.
