Update of the Health Care Ballot Measure at the Grassroot Actions online meeting.  The measure is sponsored by Colorado Representatives Andrew Boesenecker and Karen McCormick, and Sen. Sonya Jaquez Lewis. The Office of Legislative Legal Services is working on a 2023 bill in which the General Fund would be authorized to pay for an actuarial analysis by the CO School of Public Health to answer the questions Coloradans and Legislators will have about CO single-payer care. This bill would be in preparation for a referred ballot measure of implementing legislation in November 2024.
