Data released to the Colorado legislature this September shows we could save billions, ensure better health care, and increase employment with a single-payer universal health care plan for Colorado. Five of us from the APA Healthcare Action Team attended a vigil and a rally on Friday, March 18 at the Colorado State Capitol. The vigil honored the 3,500 Coloradans who die each year of things health care could have helped with. That was before COVID.
The rally called for a Colorado where we save billions by providing better health care to everyone. The APA Healthcare Action team members also met personally to advocate for a single-payer, universal health care plan with our state House representatives and two aides of our state Senator.
