Speaker Bio: With over 15 years of experience as a licensed landscape architect and urban designer, Mike Griffith has consistently led innovative thinking in public spaces. His hands-on approach to complex infrastructure projects has driven success for clients across the Front Range. Mike’s expertise lies in practical solutions for mobility, green infrastructure, and community resiliency. He has a proven track record in project management and design leadership, delivering conceptual studies to final implementation.
Mike has led the urban design scope for major projects in the Denver metro area, including the Brighton Boulevard Redevelopment, Sloan’s Lake Redevelopment, Federal Boulevard Greenway, Alameda Underpass Study, McGregor Square Redevelopment, and 16th Street Mall Redevelopment. He is deeply committed to community service and serves in various roles, such as Chair of the Planning Commission, Chair of the Board of Adjustment, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Olde Town Business Improvement District.
Last fall, Mike joined the APA and appreciates the organization’s dedication to bringing challenging issues into the public square. He is looking forward to having an open discussion on development, advocacy, and the future of our city – where all should feel welcome to grow and thrive.
