APA Meeting: Arvada City Comprehensive Plan
Join APA as we learn about the 2026-27 Arvada City Comprehensive Plan. A Comprehensive Plan is a municipality’s effort to create a shared vision for the future of our community. As the name suggests, it is a comprehensive combination of goals and policies around economic development, housing, transportation, parks and open space — all the pieces that go into making our community what it is. It is created through a collaborative process with residents, City staff, partners, elected leaders and others to guide future development.

The City of Arvada is kicking off the Arvada Comprehensive Plan (ACP) project – replacing our current 2014 Comprehensive Plan with a shared vision for the future of our community that reflects our City’s ambitions for the next 10-20 years. Due to changing demographic, economic, technological, and social trends over the past few decades, the City is in need of a planning process that engages our community and builds consensus on important issues to guide City staff and decision-makers.
APA meeting attendees will have opportunity to ask questions and learn more about getting involved in shaping the plan.
