APA Meeting Recap: Water Infrastructure and Drought Planning

On June 13, 2026 Arvadans for Progressive Action (APA) had our June meeting. After local elected officials and candidates spoke briefly to the group, we had brief reports from APA Action Teams and then moved into our main speaker.              

Speakers Chris McFee (Civil Engineer at City of Arvada) and Christine Gray (Infrastructure Business Manager for the City of Arvada) spoke about Arvada water infrastructure and drought planning for the city. They answered questions about water purification, collection, and how fees are calculated. Also, they explained how droughts impact all those systems and how one year of drought impacts years to come.
