At APA, our immigration team focuses on supporting the immigrant community in Arvada and in Colorado. We support our immigrant neighbors through education, elevating voices, and advocacy. Immigrants in Arvada own businesses, work and pay taxes. They share perspectives and culture that makes our community richly diverse. We believe our immgrant neighbors make our community stronger.

In early 2025 we advocated at a school board meeting with Engage Jeffco for a resolution and policy regarding what to do if ICE came to a school campus in Jeffco. A resolution was passed by the board.
