Rally/Protest Action Team

Across the nation, we have seen peaceful protests pop up big and small as a way to make our voices heard. We have seen thousands march in the streets, protesters show up at politicians’ townhalls, rallies in front of stores (like Tesla), people gathering at immigration courts to protect immigrants at their hearings, and more. Right here in Arvada, we have had hundreds frequently gather on the overpass near Olde Town Arvada, along with many smaller protests across the city and state.

Our rally team plans Arvada rallies and spreads information about existing peaceful rallies and protests in the area. If you are interested in being part of this team, please get in touch with us.

Discover more local protests and events through Indivisible and 50501.

The Rally/Protest Action Team accomplishments include:

  • 3,000+ people gathering in Olde Town Arvada near the Grandview Overpass to peacefully protest during the No Kings Rally in June 2025
  • 6+ rallies ranging from 200-600 participants
  • Ongoing tracking of local rallies and promoting and attending as many as possible.
  • Collaboration with larger groups such as 50501 and Indivisible

Arvadans for Progressive Action (APA) is committed to nonviolence and dialogue to resolve our differences. We reject violence and mourn the victims and those who have lost loved ones and the sense of security in our society. We should be free to worship, go to school, shop, socialize, meet, speak with each other, petition our government, and lead our daily lives without the fear of violence.
